Thomas M Gramling, the founder of Gramling CPA, brings over to 2 decades of real-world accounting experience in various industries. Our clients can testify that we provide superior service. We are passionate about small businesses and can provide consulting services as well as business taxes, fractional CFO services, individual taxes, accounting, and organizational startup.

Thomas graduated at the top of his class from the University of Wisconsin’s accounting program and later passed his CPA exam. After spending 3 years at a “Big Four” Accounting Firm (formerly Big Six) in Milwaukee, he later joined one of Denver’s premier accounting firms, Anton Collins Mitchell. Thomas later became the CFO of an international engineering and industrial manufacturing company in Denver and was promoted to become president in 2009.

After 9 years of continuous growth in profitability and revenue, all while maintaining a fantastic culture, he decided to focus on starting his own accounting and small business consulting firm, helping businesses to succeed.

Gramling CPA started in 2004 as a side business to serve the local market mainly for business and individual taxes, answering the requests of friends to start but continued to grow organically. As the customer base increased, several clients requested auditing services for Small NPOs (non-profit organizations) as well as mortgage brokerages, and we saw the demand for our services expand in areas of small business consulting. We have helped many startups know the stresses that come with owning a company and love participating in the creation of new ventures.

Aside from work, Thomas loves giving back to his community and serves actively in several areas. He enjoys serving in his local church. He has been a treasurer/board member for the Colorado Trail Foundation. Thomas also volunteered on ski patrol at Loveland Mountain in Colorado, where he frequently snowboarded. He is a loving father to three daughters who he loves to watch dance competitively and enjoy golfing, biking, and playing tennis.
